Did you ever wonder what the ancient and mystical origins of Holy Communion are? Where did this sacramental ritual come from? Often, we participate in receiving Holy Communion, however the spiritual understanding of the event escapes our outer awareness. Join us for this session as we discuss Melchizedek who “brought forth bread and wine” when he blessed our father Abraham (Gen. 14:18-20). Melchizedek, Abraham and Lot were present for this sacrament. Why were these men chosen? We’ll explore the circumstances surrounding these three men who were present for the first Holy Communion. You’re invited to join us on this spiritual discovery.

Rev. Kate Gordon was born in the United States and raised in the West Indies. She spent many years as a registered nurse in the operating room, emergency room, and clinical environments. She lived in Germany and organized and traveled with groups of international people all over Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, Russia, and parts of the Middle East, including Israel. Kate found the teachings of the Ascended Masters in 1987 and shortly thereafter became a minister of Church Universal and Triumphant. She served on the staff of The Summit Lighthouse for almost fourteen years and was co-president of the organization for ten. She is married with three adult children and six grandchildren.
